Canel’s is a diverse, privately held, Mexican enterprise which has grown from a confectionery business. Established in 1925, in San Luis Potosí, Canel’s today operates across confectionery, real estate, hotel and storage. The confectionery business remains central within the group, with its main product line being chewing gum. It also manufactures 150 different products, including soft and hard sweets, fruit chews, milk caramel chews, toffees, lollipops, jelly beans and more. The company has a manufacturing site of more than 100,000 m², from where Canel’s distributes its products to both the North and South American markets and to 30 other countries worldwide.
